Program Details

The online Agricultural Education degree is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to advance into a leadership position including educators, employees of state and federal agencies, extension agents, and employees of private businesses. Core coursework includes topics in research and methods, while electives range from adult education and leadership to communications and interpreting statistical data. The program culminates in a thesis, project, or exam. 

This program is offered through the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance (Great Plains IDEA); regionally accredited schools working in partnership to provide students with online opportunities. Students apply at their school of choice.
