Master of Nuclear Engineering

Program Details

The online Master of Nuclear Engineering program is designed for students with undergraduate degrees in engineering disciplines or the applied sciences who wish to pursue graduate degrees in nuclear engineering.  The curriculum offers a nuclear reactor program along with research in fission, fusion, radiation physics, and applications.  Courses may include:

  • Reactor Engineering
  • Radiation Safety and Shielding
  • Nuclear Materials
  • Nuclear Fuel Cycles
  • Radiation and Reactor Fundamentals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering discipline with a strong engineering/mathematical curriculum.
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Official transcripts
