Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Nonwoven Science & Technology program is designed to give recognized academic credentials and advanced expertise in nonwoven science and technology to graduate students and other individuals with bachelor’s degrees who are not currently enrolled in degree programs.  The curriculum provides advanced expertise in Nonwoven Science and Technology, covering everything from the physical and chemical nature of local bonding and fiber entanglement and viable processes for producing these fabrics to the methods used in evaluating properties and performance of nonwovens.  Courses may include:

  • Introduction to Nonwovens Processes and Products
  • Advanced Nonwovens Processing
  • Bonding Fundamentals in Nonwovens
  • Nonwoven Characterization Methods
  • Nonwoven Product Development


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university, or equivalent
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
