Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Agricultural & Extension Education program is especially appropriate for individuals who want advanced training in this field but do not plan to pursue master’s degrees, have master’s degrees in other disciplines but would like to gain expertise in this field, are earning teacher certifications in agriculture and want additional credentials, or who are working as Extension Agents and are taking courses for the required professional development hours.  Additionally, twelve credit hours from the certificate may be applied to the Master of Agricultural and Extension Education.  This flexible program allows students to choose the specific courses they will take depending on their professional goals and academic backgrounds.  Possible courses include:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or equivalent
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
