Normandale Community College, a public, two-year institution, was founded in 1968 as Normandale State Junior College. Soon after, the school changed to its current name. The Normandale Community College campus sits on 90 acres in Bloomington, Minnesota. The college operates with the mission to advance individuals' intellectual, career, and personal development by providing outstanding teaching and support. 

Normandale Community College awards associate's degrees and select certificates, many of which can be completed online. NCC provides students with the benefits of a college credit transfer program coordinated with area universities and colleges.
