Founded by the Vincentian Community in 1856, Niagara University is a private liberal arts university with a strong Catholic tradition. Niagara University has been educating students in the Catholic and Vincentian traditions for over 150 years. This tradition emphasizes ethics, learning, and service to prepare our graduates for lives and careers that are fulfilling and successful. Niagara University is making an impact in the lives of students, and these students are using the knowledge gained to make an impact on campus grounds, in the local community, and worldwide.
