NYCC offers the online MS in Human Anatomy & Physiology Instruction. This degree equips you to master the full spectrum of human anatomy and physiology while building a solid foundation in instructional theory and best teaching practices. Students will gain a deep understanding of gross anatomy along side the expertise to teach it at the college level.
You will graduate a well-prepared, highly effective instructor, able to assume valuable teaching roles at the undergraduate level and a valued resource to your institution, department and students.
- An one-week practicum may be required on campus
- A professional degree (MSN, MD, DO, DC, DVM, or other similar advanced clinical degree) awarded by an accredited institution; OR a master's degree in a related field from an accredited institution; OR demonstrate significant anatomy and physiology teaching experience in the undergraduate college/ university setting; OR demonstrate current enrollment in an advanced clinical degree program after having completed the anatomy and physiology sequence of the program
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher (4.0 scale) desired
