Program Details

The online RN to BSN degree program from New Mexico State University is designed for RNs from diverse educational and multicultural backgrounds who want to earn a baccalaureate degree in an environment that promotes personal satisfaction and lifelong learning through challenging experiences. Graduates are prepared to advance their nursing careers and/or pursue graduate nursing education.


Degree completion requires a total of 128 credits, including transfer and major requirements.

  • Nursing curriculum: 39 credits
  • Must have an ADN or diploma in nursing
  • Current NM RN license*
  • Specific immunizations required by the School of Nursing
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher

*This state is a member of the Nurse License Compact granting nurses to have one multi-state license in participating states. Non-resident students will need to check with both the school and their state of residence for approval to complete this degree program.
