The online Post-Master’s Certificate in Science of Nursing is designed for advanced practice nurses with a master’s degree and national certification in a clinical specialty who want to prepare for certification in another practice specialty. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specialty prepares nurses for advanced practice focusing on mental health issues across the lifespan. Students learn about best practices in research and health care quality improvement.
