The online Post-Master’s Certificate in Science of Nursing is designed for advanced practice nurses with a master’s degree and national certification in a clinical specialty who want to prepare for certification in another practice specialty. The Family Nurse Practitioner track focuses on healthcare of families across the lifespan.

Courses examine advanced health assessment, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. Students learn how to manage acute and chronic illness in families. Classes are combined with specialty seminars and clinical experiences that emphasize the physiological and psychosocial impact of illness on the patient and family.
