    Requirements

    Non-Resident Students enrolling in 6 or less liable credits will be assessed Resident Tuition Rates. Transcripts. To be considered for admission, an applicant must meet one of the following four criteria: Received an undergraduate degree with a GPA of at least 3.5 from an institution with business accreditation by AACSB International or ACBSP; or Completed the GMAT with a minimum score of 400 and a combined GMAT score and undergraduate GPA such that (GPA x 200) + GMAT ≥ 1050; or Received a graduate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university; or Completed at least four years of relevant, full-time, post-degree, professional work experience and an undergraduate degree with a GPA ≥ 3.25 from an institution with business accreditation by AACSB International or ACBSP.

    Restrictions

    The program begins with a face-to-face orientation on the Las Cruces campus and concludes with a three-day meeting in Las Cruces.

    School Overview

    New Mexico State University, a four-year, public, land-grant institution, was founded in 1888 as Las Cruces College. In 1889, the New Mexico territorial legislature authorized the creation of an agricultural college and experiment station and Las Cruces College became the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts. Due to rapid growth, in 1960 university status was awarded and the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts became New Mexico State University. The school's mission is "to serve the educational needs of New Mexico’s diverse population through comprehensive programs of education, research, extension education, and public service."

    Students have a variety of options academically at New Mexico State University. There are nine colleges in which students can find a program to interest them. The colleges include:
