As a branch of the New Mexico State University system, Carlsbad offers educational opportunities for a wide range of adult learners – from high school students to senior citizens.  Programs range from individual trade classes to full associates' degrees.  As an independently-accredited body, NMSU-Carlsbad is focused on serving the community with quality education and producing citizens who give back.  Courses are available on-campus and online, enabling students to learn when and where it is convenient to their schedule.  Areas of study include:

In fact, online classes offered through the Carlsbad campus are also a part of the distance education program through NMSU, known as NMSU-Online.  With this larger learning platform available, students can complete an entire 4-year bachelor’s degree online.
