Criminal justice professionals maintain societal order in the face of evolving laws, technological innovation and social circumstances that can lead to incivility and chaos. The Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice program provides students with a comprehensive overview of the criminal justice system, including contemporary law enforcement practices, and the types and patterns of crime in the United States. Students will also examine investigative techniques and the impact of legal decisions on public safety policies.
The Concentration in Human Services prepares you to work with at-risk populations in fields such as community service, mental health and social work. Students will develop the knowledge and skills to provide hands-on assistance to individuals dealing with personal and social challenges.
