New Charter University
New Charter University is an entirely online university, providing busy professionals the opportunity to earn undergraduate and graduate degrees. Students of the university can successfully complete coursework through a virtual classroom, and apply the learned academics to current or future career aspirations.
New Charter University’s Associate of Science in Business program is designed to enhance a student's knowledge and understanding of core business concepts and solidify the education required for entry into a competitive job market.
Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of essential skills in marketing, entrepreneurship, accounting, economics, and management. Students of the associates program can use the earned degree for immediate entry into careers or as the foundation for further educational goals in the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. The 60-credit-hour program is comprised of 20 courses, each tailored to best capture the needed and necessary academics for business industries.
Graduates can expect to excel in entry-level business roles such as bookkeeper, customer service representative, office clerk, and administrative assistants.

Accreditation & Licensing
Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC)
- High school transcript or equivalent (such as a GED). The Diploma or GED must be accepted as valid by the University within 30 days of enrollment.
- 12 College-Level Credits from courses at New Charter University, from transfer credits accepted by New Charter University, or from a combination of both.
New Charter University focuses on online learning, with all classes delivered via distance education. This innovative academic platform allows working adult students to incorporate their knowledge and learned experiences with self-paced instruction and students have 24/7 access to course materials. Exams can also be scheduled to meet the flexible demands of each student.
Students can pursue associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees from three colleges:
- College of Business
- College of Criminal Justice and Public Policy
- College of Education
