Program Details

National University offers an online MBA with a concentration in Financial Management for students who would like to delve deeper into the area of Financial Management as it applies to business administration.  The curriculum includes courses in core MBA knowledge and skills and in Financial Management coursesTopics covered in Financial Management include:

  • Administrative Leadership
  • Legal and Operating Definitions
  • Boards and Committees
  • Board and Staff Relationships
  • Volunteerism

You also gain skills in the areas of management, communication, decision-making, and group leadership.  Courses emphasize leadership issues in defining roles and managing boundaries that involve the board of directors, executive leadership, relationships between the board and the executive director, and more.


  • A bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university 
  • An overall GPA of 2.5 or better, or where a GPA of 2.75 or higher in the last 90 quarter units
  • Students with a GPA of 2.0 to 2.49 may be admitted to the University if they have a satisfactory score on one of the following tests: GMAT, GRE, Miller Analogies Test, or an approved, standardized program-specific exam
