Program Details

The online RN to BSN degree completion program from Murray State University is designed to provide students with a liberal, generalist education and prepare them for career advancements and/or graduate study. Graduates of this program are able to:

Degree completion requires a total of 120 credits, including transfer and major requirements. Registered nurses may receive up to 20 hours of upper division credit for their basic nursing courses (subject to transfer credit evaluation) along with eligible associate degree credits.

  • Online curriculum: 50 credits
  • Current RN License to practice clinicals in your state of residence
  • Associate’s degree in nursing
  • Completion of all admission requirements and acceptance by Murray State University
  • Official transcripts from all higher education institutions attended
  • 2.5 GPA or higher and grade “C” and above in all required courses
  • Liability insurance in the amount $1,000,000/$3,000,000
  • Recommendation from the Academic Standards and Admissions Committee to the Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions
