Program Details

The online Master of Arts in Education in Teaching and Learning program is designed to improve educators’ teaching practices and better equip them to meet the needs of P-12 students.  This flexible program allows teachers to choose courses that meets their learning and professional development needs, increases their effectiveness, and improves student outcomes.  Required courses include:

  • School leadership & Ethical Practice
  • Consultation, Collaboration, and Cooperative Practice
  • Multiculturalism in Education
  • Application of Student Outcome Data on Instructional Practice
  • Educator as Researcher


  • Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
  • Have a valid teaching license
  • Registration agreement form
  • Admission interview
