Program Details

Morgan State’s online MSW prepares students for practicing in an urban setting. This graduate program is committed to advancing the quality of life and diminishing human suffering. It offers two specializations: Urban Children, Youth & Families and Addictions. With a focus on systematically and strategically taking on the issues of socioeconomic disadvantage, violence, poverty, mental illness and substance abuse, required courses explore:

  • Psychopathology
  • Neighborhood advocacy
  • Urban social problems
  • Addictive behaviors
