Program Details

The online Marketing Certificate program from Montgomery County Community College is designed to prepare students for employment in entry level marketing positions and/or enhance career opportunities in the areas of sales, customer service, advertising and promotion, public relations, purchasing, and distribution. Graduates are equipped to:

  • ​Exhibit professional and proficient communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal
  • ​Apply fundamental knowledge of marketing concepts to function effectively in a global business environment
  • Apply learned marketing skills required to continue career or educational pursuits

​All required courses may be applied toward an Associate's Degree in Management.


  • Official high school transcript or GED diploma
  • Official college transcript (if applicable)
  • Placement test(s) may be required
  • This certificate program requires an internship which may not be completed in Massachusetts
