This one-of-a-kind online program is available world-wide for students to gain knowledge and insight about the American Indians of Montana, the region and the US.  At Montana State, faculty will lead students through historical and contemporary issues, alongside other subjects such as:

  • Federal Indian Law & Policy
  • Native America: Dispelling the Myths
  • Indigenous Literature & the West



  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended
  • Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 for the last two years of undergraduate study
  • Two academic writing samples
  • A 2-5 page personal statement and goals
  • A current curriculum vita or resumé
