Program Details

The online Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice program prepares students for careers in the criminal justice field, including the areas of law enforcement, the courts, and corrections.  The curriculum covers many diverse topics, including crime prevention and enforcement, the legal system, corrections, conflict management, and psychology.  You will focus on practical knowledge while also studying deeper, more complex issues that relate to law enforcement and the corrections system.  Graduates understand the source of substantive criminal law, the historical development of common law principles of criminal responsibility, and constitutional constraints on the decision to define behavior as criminal.
