Program Details

The online Certificate in Long-Term Care Management is designed to meet the needs of the rapidly aging and longer-living population and is for students who currently work in the long-term care field or have an interest in doing so.  The curriculum prepares students to provide efficient and effective leadership to long-term care facilities, understand the aging demographics and their impact, construct budgets for facilities, and oversee the implementation of strategic plans for these facilities.  Students are also prepared to review and assess contracts with providers of services to long-term care facilities and review and assess contracts between the facilities and health plans, the state, and other third parties.
