Program Details

The online Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems focuses on developing employable technologists by teaching students to apply what they have learned and to adapt to a constantly changing technological world. With this in mind, the program is geared to respond to new technologies, such as wireless communications, 3D virtual reality networks, grid processing and cryptography.

The curriculum focuses on developing four important competencies:

  • Technical skills
  • Business skills
  • Industry experience
  • Certifications. 

Specific career roles for graduates might relate to system analysis, database administration, security analysis, network operations, web technologies and application development and design.


Requires 123 credits for degree completion.
