Master of Science in Special Education / Autism

Program Details

The Master of Science in Special Education / Autism track offered by Monmouth University is for teachers to focus more on educational services for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Students will learn assessment tools, how to determine needs, and practices to increase student goals.

Monmouth also offers an 18-credit Certificate in Autism program.

Requirements

  • Possession of a baccalaureate degree with a satisfactory overall GPA per state requirements and a minimum 3.0 GPA in the undergraduate major
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Essay (500 words or more)
  • Teaching certification may be required based on program of study
