Program Details

The online Certificate in Administration of Justice / Corrections Officer program prepares students for employment as corrections officers; for those employed in corrections or another criminal justice system job, the program provides professional growth and preparation for promotions or transfers.  The curriculum includes theoretical, practical, and professional knowledge in criminal justice, preparing students to respond to crime and work collaboratively with law enforcement, the courts, corrections, parole and probation, and the communities served.  You will learn how to better identify, design, implement, and evaluate programs to prevent crime and reduce recidivism.

    • May be waived based on ACT/SAT scores, high school GPA, or college transcript
  • A high school diploma or GED is required
