Program Details

The online Master of Science in Systems Engineering program offers an interdisciplinary approach to managing complex systems and projects, preparing students for a field that is central to many businesses and organizations.  Students will take courses in theory and application of systems engineering and management, as well as choosing an area of specialization that allows the students to design programs that best fit their career interests and goals.  Areas of specialization include big data analytics, management and security; computational intelligence; model-based engineering; modeling and simulation; complex adaptive systems; quality and reliability; risk modeling and assessment; statistics; structures; infrastructure systems; systems architecting; and systems design optimization.


  • Bachelor’s in engineering, applied mathematics, computer science or a physical science
