Program Details

This online mechanical engineering degree provides a formal education that can serve as a stepping stone to a master’s degree. Best of all, if you use this certificate in that way, you can enter the master’s degree program without taking the GRE/GMAT! All credits earned will count toward your master’s degree in electrical engineering.  

Complete a cross-disciplinary program between chemical engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. Two courses are required: Plantwide Process Control and Advanced PLC. Students can choose their other courses from such electives as:

  • Intermediate Chemical Process Safety 
  • PLC Motion Control 
  • Mechatronics 
  • Robotic Manipulators and Mechanisms
  • Manufacturing Equipment Automation
