Program Details
Help children and their families deal with issues surrounding illness, grief, and hospitalization with a master’s degree in Child Life Studies from Missouri State. Graduates are eligible to become a Certified Child Life Specialist.
Two tracks are available to students. Those new to the field can complete the standard track to get started in the healthcare field. Students already practicing as a Certified Child Life Specialist or who have a degree related to child life studies can apply for the advanced track option. With both tracks, students complete a research practicum or in-person internship and take classes online.
