Program Details

The online Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership program prepares leaders to steer educational institutions with conviction, knowledge, and vision using both faith and education.  This program prepares higher education leaders who bring an experienced, global, and faith-based worldview to the classroom.  The curriculum provides organizational and leadership knowledge and experience, making it ideal for professionals desiring to move into administrative roles in higher education, such as deans, directors, professors, provosts, and presidents.

Requirements

  • One on-campus residency requirement
  • Educational specialist degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university 
  • Overall GPA of 3.5 (4.0 scale)
  • Reviewed and approved by the Doctoral Candidate Selection Committee
  • GRED 543 Methods of Inquiry I, or an equivalent course completed within the last seven years
  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended
  • Three academic references
  • Professional vita
  • Statement of professional experience
  • Writing sample
  • Completion of Business Office Master Promissory Note
