Mississippi State University offers the PhD in Engineering with a concentration in Civil Engineering. Major areas of study include structures, geotechnical, water resources, transportation, construction materials and environmental engineering. Research laboratories include capabilities in the areas of structures and wind analysis, geotechnical engineering, water quality and environmental engineering, surveying, transportation and construction materials. Graduates of this program can expect to work globally for companies, industry, academia and agencies.
