Mississippi State University offers the Master of Science in Geosciences / Teachers in Geosciences. The program of study includes courses in meteorology, geology, astronomy, oceanography, hydrology and environmental geoscience. It is designed for K-12 teachers and professionals in education-related fields such as Extension, Park Service, and museums.
- Bachelor’s degree from a fully recognized four-year educational institution that has unconditional accreditation with appropriate regional accrediting agencies
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 on the last 60 hours of undergraduate work
All courses in the two-year program are offered online, except the final 8-10 day on-location field methods course.
