Program Details

Prepare for an in-demand career helping a growing population, students in special education, with this online special education degree. This program is designed for educators who want to help these students reach their full potential. It does not lead to licensure and is for those who have an undergraduate degree in Education and are looking to add Mild/Moderate Special Education (K-12) to their educator license.

Study the cognitive and psycho-social needs of students who are mildly handicapped, learning disabled, or moderately handicapped at the preschool, elementary, and secondary levels. The faith-based curriculum encourages educators to be academic and spiritual advocates for their students with disabilities while also teaching them the strategies and materials used in planning and implementing individualized programs for these students.
