Program Details

The online Education Specialist in Educational Leadership on a K-12 Administration track program is designed to meet the needs of educational professionals seeking higher levels of licensure in school administration.  The program focuses on the professional leadership development of aspiring leaders and prepares them to be ethical and innovative school leaders.  The curriculum integrates a Christian worldview with the study of personnel management, legal structures and issues, principles of fiscal management, central office roles and responsibilities, and more.

Requirements

  • Must possess a Master's level permanent teaching license; the Master's degree and license must be in an area of professional education
  • A 3.25 GPA on all prior graduate work
  • 3 letters of recommendation from school administrators familiar with applicant's character, scholarship and potential for successful completion of the program
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience on the permanent license
  • Official transcripts from previously attended colleges or universities
