Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education program assists teachers in becoming qualified to work with children and students with disabilities from birth through age 21.  Educators gain knowledge and skills that help educate those with special needs. 
 
Courses include:
  • Intro To Disability Services
  • Deaf Studies
  • Early Intervention: Deaf/HH
  • Strategies to Support Listening & Spoken Language
  • Teaching Language to Deaf/HH

Requirements

  • An overall GPA of 2.75 or 3.0 G.P.A in the last 60 hours of coursework
  • A completed bachelor’s degree in a related area
