The online MSN degree program from Minnesota State University Moorhead builds upon the general baccalaureate nursing competencies and provides specialty education and skills necessary for advanced roles in healthcare. Students are offered two emphasis choices to suit their personal interests and professional goals:
- Nursing Education
- Nursing Administration and Organization Systems Leadership
Graduates are prepared to contribute to the advancement of nursing practice, to collaborate in clinical practice, and to form research partnerships in education and healthcare settings.
- Hold a BS or BA in nursing from an ACEN (formerly NLNAC), NLN, or CCNE accredited nursing program.
- Document current unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license in the US (does not need to be MN).
- Have a total cumulative local GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in undergraduate courses at the institution where the baccalaureate nursing degree was awarded.
- Three recommendations.
