Program Details
The online Master of Science in Early Childhood Special Education program prepares educators to work with young children who have special needs that require special education methods. The curriculum provides the knowledge and skills educators need to understand, educate, and guide these students and to collaborate with their families and communities. Courses may include Behavior Management and Learning Environments for Diverse Learners, Introduction to Psychology and Education of Exceptional Children and Youth, Education of Infants and Young Children with Developmental Needs, Assessment of Infants and Young Children with Developmental Needs, and Methods of Working with Infants and Young Children with Developmental Needs.
