Program Details
The online Master of Science in Special Education / Developmental Disabilities program prepares educators to work with students that have developmental disabilities and require special education methods. The curriculum provides the knowledge and skills educators need to understand, educate, and guide these students. Courses may include Behavior Management and Learning Environments for Diverse Learners, Introduction to Psychology and Education of Exceptional Children and Youth, Transition to Adult Life, Characteristics and Assessments for Students with Developmental Disabilities, and Methods and Behavior Strategies for Students with Developmental Disabilities.
