Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Developmental Disabilities program is specifically designed to meet the MN Board of Teaching License Standards.  The program prepares educators to work with students within the field of special education that have developmental disabilities.  Courses are variable and may include:

  • Characteristics and Assessments: Students w/DCD
  • Methods and Behavior Strategies: Students w/DCD
  • Graduate Student Teaching: DCD
  • Initial Graduate Seminar: Special Education 
  • Advanced Graduate Seminar: Special Education

Requirements

  • Requires from 10-14 credits for completion
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
