Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Cyber & Information Security program is designed for students who want to begin careers in the field of cyber security and information security.  The curriculum provides the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and investigate computer crimes.  There are both general education courses and courses within the cyber and information security field.  Courses include:

  • Introduction to Criminal Justice
  • Introduction to Criminology/Criminal Behavior 
  • Special Topics: Crime Victims and Computer Crimes 
  • Criminal Law and Procedures 
  • Courtroom and Evidence Procedures

Requirements

  • High school transcript or GED
  • ACCUPLACER placement test may be required
