    Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical is a two-year, public institution of higher education, located in the city of Winona, Minnesota. Southeast Technical was founded in 1949 as the second public vocational-technical school in Minnesota. The institution is a part of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. Southeast Technical has two campuses in Red Wing and Winona, which are about sixty miles apart along the Mississippi River.

    Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical awards associate's degrees, diploma and certificate programs, and developmental courses. The Minnesota Transfer Curriculum allows students to transfer approved general education courses to other colleges and universities. About 45 percent of Southeast Technical’s students are enrolled in distance education courses. Distance learning at Southeast Technical incorporates interactive television and online learning in fully online courses and hybrid courses.
