The online Technical Diploma in IT Networking & Infrastructure Administration is designed to prepare students to set up network operating systems and equipment such as servers, PCs, switches and routers, and work with emerging technologies.
The program also prepares students for industry-sought certifications including the VMware Certified Professional-Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV), Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) – Windows 7, MCTS – Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, MCTS – Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+.
Career opportunities include positions for network administrators, specialists and technicians; and desktop support specialists. After earning this technical diploma, the credits can be applied toward completing the IT Network Specialist associate degree.
Program completion requires 30 credit hours.
