Program Details

The online IT Network Specialist AAS degree program will prepare students to program, edit and manage a wide variety of software for mobile devices.  Throughout this program, students will be able to use mobile emulator software to gain hands-on experience in using mobile application development tools.  Students will use these simulations to create applications for Android, Apple IOS and other mobile operating systems. Students will also learn about some of the dynamic database websites that are used in conjunction with app development. Finally, this program examines common management and design techniques used by successful application companies and teams.

Students in this program will be able to use the skills learned to transfer into a four-year bachelor's programs that focus on Network or Mobile Technology systems. Students interested in entering employment directly after graduation may find success in careers such as computer programmers or a mobile application developer for both large and small organizations.
