Master of Education / Educational Leadership
Midwestern State University

Program Details

Prepare for a school leadership role in a program that follows the Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC) standards. Choose from four majors:

  • Educational Leadership with Principal Certification
  • Educational Leadership without certification
  • Educational Leadership with Principal Certification and concentration in Special Education
  • Educational Leadership, Principal Certification and concentration in Sports Administration

All options provide the knowledge, skills, and dispositions students need to become school leaders. If you are completing a Principal Certification, you will have the coursework completed that is required to apply for Texas Principal Certification.

Work with an informal cohort as you learn to apply educational leadership knowledge and skills to current school issues. Oftentimes, this experience occurs in actual school settings.
