Program Details

Midland University offers an online RN to BSN program, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) degree.  This program allows RN’s to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) while still working in their nursing careers.  The curriculum is designed to allow Registered Nurses to complete courses in nursing and college humanities in 24 to 48 semester hours, including community-based projects and clinical experiences, in order to earn their BSN degree.  This program provides a liberal education foundation to build upon as you study quality care and patient safety, patient care technologies, health care policy, finance, interprofessional communication and collaboration, clinical prevention and population health, and more.  Graduates will have a wide range of knowledge and skills, including being able to:

  • Synthesize knowledge for professional nursing decisions
  • Integrate nursing research and evidence-based practice into nursing
  • Make sound and ethical decisions to ensure safe health care delivery
  • Provide professional care to diverse individuals, families, and populations
