Program Details

The value of education is recognized as increasingly critical to the successful workplace, and the need for teachers and trainers to develop that education has grown exponentially. The Training and Development concentration, with two specializations, is designed to prepare you to teach adults in the corporate training environment or to facilitate courses in an online environment. The program culminates with a professional project which is designed in cooperation with the program director. The Master of Professional Studies (MPS) is an interdisciplinary graduate degree program designed for working professionals who wish to earn a graduate degree in their area of expertise and excel in their careers. The program consists of nine hours of core requirements, 21 hours related directly to the training and development, and the three hour culminating project. The 33-hour MPS program combines the social sciences and the professions, and is offered completely online and available 24/7. The program culminates with a professional project which is designed in cooperation with the program director, and is typically related to the student's professional work.
