Mid-Michigan Community College is currently offering a transfer program designed for students who wish to eventually pursue a business-related bachelor’s degree. Designed with maximum transferability in mind, students will complete a combination of general education courses and business foundation classes that will cover the first two years found in most four-year colleges.
The curriculum for this program is 62 total credit hours of courses. Classes are divided into 6 categories. Of the total credits, 9 hours will be in communication skills and include classes such as English Composition and Expository Research. Students will complete 9 credit hours of Science & Mathematics. Examples of classes in this category are Intermediate Algebra and Business Math; 9 credit hours of Social Science is next. From this category, students will take a Macro and Micro economics class that will give them an understanding of multiple system of finance. Humanities & Fine Arts will develop students in creative and unique problem-solving viewpoints and consist of 9 credits; 16 credit hours of Applied Science include classes that teach students how to successfully operate a variety of data-based business technologies. Finally, students must choose 10 credit hours of electives. Mid Michigan Community College offers a wide range of available online electives that allow students to choose classes within individual interests or career goals. All classes for this program are available completely online. Students will be able to complete assignments and coursework on a flexible schedule that works for them. This makes this program ideal for students who wish to work full-time while earning this degree.

Mid Michigan Community College is a two-year public school with three campuses located in Michigan since 1965.
