School Details

Mid City College opened its main campus in Baton Rouge, LA in January 2000 as the Court Reporting Institute of Louisiana, a State Licensed School for educating men and women to work as judicial and legal reporters. In 2006 the Court Reporting Program began offering real-time writing disciplines for broadcast captioning and CART. By 2013, the school moved to Mid City Tower in Mid City, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 2015, the school received approval from the schools’ accreditation agency to begin using the name Mid City College.
