Program Details

Christian individuals who have a passion for church leadership may be interested in a flexible ministry education option offered by Mid-America Christian University. The Bachelor's of Christian Ministries program will give students an intense education in both the theological knowledge and the leadership skills needed to become spiritual community leaders.  Students will be able to use their degree in positions such as ministers, church organizers, missionaries, community advisors and non-profit managers. Advanced biblical research and studies will allow graduates to become knowledgeable to teach and inspire others. Individuals who are looking to enrich their personal education of Christian values will find this degree to be a useful alternative to on-campus learning.

This program consists of 54 credit hours and can be completed in potentially 20 months. All classes are available online which allows students to earn their degree while still working full-time. Instructors are experienced Christian professionals who are available by phone or internet to provide mentorship for students. The online web-format also allows students to connect with their peers through digital communication. Students will be able to participate in message board discussions about a variety of theological and biblical topics.

This program is designed for working adults. Students must be at least 22 years of age in order to be admitted into this program. Students should also have a minimum of 49 lower division, general education courses prior to entering into this program. Students have the option of completing these pre-requisite courses through one Mid-American Christian College’s many online associate's degree programs.


Students must be at least 22 years of age. 49 credit hours of undergraduate general education are required.
