This program trains students in leadership, management skills, strategic planning, media relations, and ethical Christian theology. Graduates will emerge with an understanding of how to manage and direct an organization in critical or difficult situations. With this degree, individuals will be able to look into jobs in local, state, or federal government. Students also will be able to use the skills earned to manage services like fire, rescue, healthcare, international relief agencies and church organizations. Mid-America Christian University offers a unique addition of including Christian values in their curriculum to give students a foundation of New Testament values from which to draw on during their career. The University also offers students a way to begin their career by providing paid internships for students who qualify.
This program’s curriculum consists of 49 credit hours of core public administration and theology courses. All classes are available online, allowing students a flexible academic schedule. Students will receive instruction and training online from experienced professors and complete assignments during their free time from work or family. This degree program includes only the core major classes. Students are responsible for completing all general education classes before entering into this program. Students must have a minimum of 49 credit hours of lower-level general education completed before they can accepted. Mid-America Christian University offers several online general education associates degrees to assist students in completing these prerequisites. Individuals must also be at least 22 years of age.
