Mid-America Christian University offers a unique psychology degree that is taught with a faith-based, Christian perspective. The Bachelor of Science in Psychology program will train students in the necessary skills to enter into a psychological counseling career. This degree program will allow students to enter into a wide range of entry-level counseling positions immediately upon graduation. Students will leave with a toolbox of counseling techniques that they can employ in a variety of career settings. This degree is ideal for students who plan to work closely in a team or who plan to go into careers that involve managing other people. A bachelor’s in psychology will give students the knowledge and skills to understand and explain human behavior and relationships. The added theology and Christian-based classes will also give students the ability to apply psychology knowledge to communicate with and counsel others in a Christian or church environment.
